Debbie Wasserman Schultz, as chair as the Democrat Party, makes her living by pretending that what is happening really isn’t and what doesn’t exist actually does. She’s also obligated to dismiss those who recognize reality as extremists.
Even for her it’s a tough sell to tell a convention hall filled to the brim with rabid liberals that their political candidate has been predetermined and that the entire process is a façade. There will be only six debates, down from 26 in 2008, because their criminal presumed nominee, Hillary Clinton, can’t handle the truth or the spotlight. She must be protected at all costs, including their illusion of Democratic process.
If it turns out that an indictment or other event derails her campaign then perhaps she’ll come up with an emergency plan to find a replacement, one which will allow the appearance of a free and open discussion. Until then, loose lips sink Democrat ships, so they can wait until December and stick their orange signs where the sun doesn’t shine.
Schultz’s voice hasn’t been this unsure sounding and squeaky since she announced on national television that her sellout of her fellow Jews in providing nuclear weapons to Iran was for their own good. She pledges 416 days side by side with those in attendance, an overly harsh sentence for all but the most dogmatic of Democrats. What did they do to deserve such inhumane treatment? They have a right to be upset.
As she’s addressing the crowd of what should be enthusiastic supporters ready to be led into their next four years of socialist degradation, the murmur becomes too much for her to simply ignore and talk over. Schultz interrupts her statement of gratitude and recognition of New Hampshire DNC chairman Ray Buckley, telling the crowd, “And we’re going to have a debate right here in Manchester in December so make sure you tune in. Ray, eh, don’t you worry, we will be taking it to the Republicans just like we do every single election cycle.”
She continues, “And I will tell you if you got a look at them the other night, I want to make sure that the American people get a good, close look at just how extreme the Republican field of candidates is.” What she doesn’t want is for the American people to get a look at Democrats, especially their criminal heir apparent to the throne. “They outdo crazy every single time they step on that stage,” she says of Republicans, the party that is actually debating the issues. It’s much more sane, in the DNC world order philosophy to just have a coronation, particularly when your designated leader is a mobster.
Just how is Schultz going to make sure that the American people get a good look at Republicans, as she claims? Shouldn’t she be attempting to make sure we get a look at the “great” Democrat lineup?
Schultz declares, “We’re going to be ready, don’t you worry,” an indication that they aren’t ready and they should all be worried. Maybe Obama, Clinton and Schultz didn’t realize the election was coming in 2016 and it caught them by surprise. Maybe they weren’t as successful in obstructing the Clinton crimes as they had expected they’d be.
“Don’t worry,” Democrats, Schultz promises, they’ll be “taking it to the Republicans” in good time. They’re just being used a little differently this time. Once they’re told how they’re expected to respond, they’ll accept it just like the good little enlightened non-thinkers that they are. For now they can sit down, shut up, put the signs down, face DC, bow and cheer on cue.
In order to change the subject back to her prepared text and in the interest of sounding “hood rat cool,” Wasserman Schultz said, “Let me heap some love on Ray Buckley.”
There goes Ray, barreling through the emergency exists, burning the rubber off of his tires in a hasty retreat out of the parking lot.
He apparently didn’t realize that’s just cool “urban Democrat” talk. He must have thought a real heap of “Schultz love” was coming his way; poor guy, he’ll never be the same. There’s no counseling to help someone suffering from that type of trauma.
